Loved the place, had a really really nice stay at a hotel in Bournemouth for 3 days after this trip. I booked a classic queen room with an electronic key card, multi-channel television and a study table. I was met by decent and amicable staff at the lobby. It had central location close to Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.

The hotel offered 10-minutes direct walk to mary rose museum. Can't beat the location, walking distance to a bus stop. The beds were comfy in our room. 400 metres away there is Ship Anson, where you can dine...
